Silence

A lowered gaze emerges from broad, earth-coloured washes. One side of the face recedes into shadow while untouched paper carries the light across the forehead and cheek. Loosely suggested hair surrounds the more precisely drawn features, holding the portrait between definition and dissolution.

Original watercolour on professional-grade paper, stretched over a wooden support and protected with layers of GOLDEN Archival Varnish with UV protection. Presented without glass in a handmade black floating frame. The painting measures 60 × 90 cm; overall framed dimensions are 60 × 90 × 3.3 cm. Supplied ready to hang with fittings attached. UK delivery is included, with dispatch within 1–2 working days. For delivery outside the UK, please enquire before purchasing.
