The Craft

I paint wet-on-wet on heavyweight, professional-grade watercolour paper, working at a large scale that allows the washes to flow, mingle and settle naturally.

Each painting is stretched taut over a wooden stretcher, protected with layers of GOLDEN archival varnish with UV protection, and set into a handmade floating frame. The frame is 3.3cm by 1cm, with dimensions set per individual pinging, typically 60cm by 90cm. Paintings are presented without glass, the paper’s texture and the painting’s surface remain directly visible.

Made with artist-quality pigments from Winsor & Newton and carefully selected materials throughout, each original arrives framed and ready to hang.
